
North East based hair salon group Contemporary celebrated its success with an evening of supremacy.
The company held its annual conference at Gisborough Hall to recognise its staff and education centres talent.
The evening got off to a spectacular start, featuring ‘supremacy', a hair show directed by Contemporary's highly acclaimed Art Team. Clothing by stylist Claire Ledder and make-up Natalie Crawford complemented the look.
The evening's most prestigious award, Salon of the Year was won by Guisborough, with last years winners Stokesley receiving runner-up. The Guisborough salon continued the celebrations when Claire Morley was promoted to Creative Director and awarded the Best Product Advisor trophy. The salons Manager, Jessica Taylor also picked up Manager of the Year Runner-Up and Kayleigh King walked away with Stylist of the Year.
Stokesley proved to be on a winning streak, also picking up PR Salon of the Year and the Salon Image Award. Zoe Blakeburn also walked away with Top Stylist of the Year award, Natalie Bringloe won Style Director of the Year and Sonny Playforth scooped Assistant of the Year.
Stockton proved it super serves it's clients after scooping Customer Service Salon of the Year for the second year running.
Contemporary's Harrogate salon proved to be a winner and franchisee Emma-Louise Usher was awarded Manager of the Year, Art Director of the Year and stormed the board for the highest take.
Contemporary Director Alan Simpson said, "2009 was challenging for business but the Contemporary team rose to the challenge and delivered great results for the group. The awards evening is a fabulous way of recognising and rewarding the talent and celebrating all their efforts."
