Stylist Natalie gave Sonia sexy, bouncy hair and cut in choppy layers to give added bounce and volume. To emphasise the style further large GHD stylers were used to create further movement and texture. Natural, sun kissed highlights for a soft subtle look completed the stunning effect and worked perfectly with Sonia’s hair and skin tone - making her the perfect pop princess.
Natalie’s colour was given a huge boost of youthfulness and vibrancy. Adding strong clean slices of blonde through the front of her fringe and contrasting this with an all over burgundy Dia-Colour Gelee, it injected shine and created a strong image to compliment her English rose complexion. To leave a lasting impression with the X Factor judges stylist Rachel cut 4 inches off her length and livened it up with some choppy layers to create texture.
Rebecca’s blonde hair needed warmth and tone so a full head of highlights was added to soften the colour and give her a more sophisticated look. Her colour was further maximised by adding lots of layers, texture and shape. Rebecca’s thick hair was also thinned out to make it more manageable and ensure she could easily recreate the style.
Of all the girl’s Toni had the biggest makeover. Stylists first tackled the colour giving her a full head of highlights that were softly graduated from darker to lighter tones to maintain a subtle, natural look and eliminate any brassiness. But it was her cut that made the biggest difference. Stylist Rachel gave her a striking graduated bob and completed the funky feel by adding a full fringe that is on trend for autumn.
